Professional Women for Water and Sanitation Network (PW4WATSAN) is a registered network, established to empower, support, and encourage the Professional, career, and Social development of women.

To enhance their physical and social growth both at local and international levels in line with AfWA congress realisation of the need to empower Women in the Water and Sanitation Sector.

This network has strengthened the role of women in the Water Sector as a whole. Skills to empower and sustain our network’s objectives. The overall objective is to foster the role of women in water and sanitation management in NWSC and Uganda as a whole.

To support, inspire and encourage professional and career development of women and strengthen outreach in communities regarding water and sanitation activities

To be a leading transformation network that empowers women in water and sanitation

  • To promote knowledge and experience sharing and develop skills of women in various aspects related to water and sanitation.
  • To provide a platiform of mentorship for the young water professionals and girls in Schools and Water Sanitation Clubs (SWAS Clubs).
  • To promote and contribute to national and international initiatives and sanitation on matters of mutual interest and enhance collaboration and networking among members.
